Selecting the right flowers and décor for your wedding day is such an important task. You’ve chosen your style of dress and colour scheme and now you will need to coordinate it with your flowers.

It is important for me to understand your personality in order to take your special needs into consideration when it comes to the theme of the wedding, the choice of flowers and shapes to decorate with. By sharing examples of my work with you, you can form a clear mental image of what I will be delivering on your special day.

Meet the florist.
Flowers are our language.

Mon Petit Fleur was established in 2008 in Durbanville. My name is Monique and I am the owner and the florist. I have been in the flower industry for many years, creating natural, original works of art using only the best quality flowers.

I began my career delivering flowers for a well known South African franchise, became shop manager, and later opened Cosmos Flower Boutique in Tyger Valley. I then joined the newly built super yacht Athena in Amsterdam and spent four years sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean ~ arranging flowers for the guest areas and absorbing international trends.

On my return to South Africa in 2008, I launched Mon Petit Fleur Floral Design, and now specialise in flowers and décor for all occasions across the Winelands and Cape Town area.

We start with your personality, your dress, your colour scheme and your venue ~ then build the theme, the flowers and the shapes around them.

Stem by stem.

Bring in swatches of fabric or ideas of your own, or choose from a wide and varied range of wedding and décor designs. Every arrangement is composed by hand.

Set up, and down.

Floral design, styling, sourcing and supplying décor items, and the full set-up and breakdown of all weddings and events ~ with knowledge of the top local venues.
